YouthScape Ignites the Global Youth Assembly!
Seventeen YouthScapers – from coast to coast - ignited the Global Youth Assembly (GYA) on July 29-August 2, 2009 in Edmonton, Alberta. Thanks to a partnership with the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights, YouthScape was able to participate in this exciting event that brought together hundreds of youth from diverse geographical and personal backgrounds. “The conference was amazing. BBQ at Boscoville
On June 23rd, the selection committee invited all the grantees to a friendly BBQ at Boscoville, Rivière-des-Prairies to celebrate the launch of the 2nd generation of youth led projects, from 5 to 7 o’clock. The selection committee came up with this idea themselves; they have been discussing creating closer contact and connecting more with the chosen groups for a long time.
