Strengthening the Youth Service Sector: Spaces & Places

• Creating spaces that are welcoming and inclusive where youth and adults can share ideas and perspectives with each other, work together and have some fun!
• Fostering meaningful youth involvement in community building. 
• Changing attitudes and policies by increasing collaboration and coordination between youth-serving groups, community organizations, government agencies and private sector interests.
• Providing opportunities for collective learning and action!

YouthScape HRM has been very fortunate to receive support from community organizations and government agencies including HeartWood, Halifax Regional Municipality, Health Promotion and Protection, United Way of Halifax, Youth Employability Project, Halifax Public Libraries and Oddesign Creative Services.
